Hot on the heels of the "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" trailer, director Bryan Singer Instagrammed the first look at footage from the highly anticipated "X-Men" sequel, "Days of Future Past." It may be only seven seconds long, but hot damn, that's a lot of mutant action.
In the sequel, something brings together the X-Men from the first three movies, and the X-Men from "First Class," in the 1970s. That something may or may not be Peter Dinklage's semi-villainous robot designer Bolivar Trask, who was teased in the closing credits scenes of the last X-film, "The Wolverine."
In fact, we don't have a lot of info about the film, other than that it'll bring together nearly every single actor from the first few X-Men films, even some of the dead ones (Patrick Stewart is back, though sadly not James Marsden); and even introduce some new mutants, including the super-fast Quicksilver.
The full trailer launches on October 29 on YouTube, preceded by a Twitter chat with Singer on the 28.
"X-Men: Days of Future Past" hits theaters May 23, 2014.
